 Randy Cowles (1/10/71) attempted to steal some DVD’s at the Fresh Market. When Cowles was confronted by an employee, he pulled out a knife and threatened the employee. Cowles fled and was located by officers a short distance from the store. Cowles was booked into jail for aggravated assault and theft.

Purse Snatch Robbery

 A suspect approached a 32-year-old female victim and forcibly took her purse. The suspect then fled on foot. The suspect was described as a male black adult, approximately 6 feet tall, 230 pounds, with facial hair and was wearing a black hooded shirt.

Aggravated Assault (Domestic)/Resisting

Michael Duran (3/9/61) threatened his girlfriend by holding a knife to her neck. After being taken into custody Duran jumped to his feet and moved towards officers. Duran would not comply with officer directions and had to be taken to the ground. Duran received minor cuts to his forehead and brow. Duran was treated at a local hospital and then booked into jail. Duran was charged with Aggravated assault, failure to comply with an officer and public intoxication.
