Traffic Accident

600 S. 700 E.

Officers responded to a traffic accident at 600 South 700 East. Someone had driven their vehicle into the rear of another vehicle and then ran from the scene, leaving his young children, 9 and 2, in the car.  The children sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Police contacted the driver, the children’s father, and convinced him to return to the scene.  Michael Stoltenberg (5/3/85) was ultimately arrested for DUI, leaving the scene of an injury accident, and child endangerment.
