Warren Brent Avery (9/10/42) believed his neighbor was involved in criminal activity. Avery kicked in the neighbor’s front door and confronted him at gunpoint. The man was able to shut the door and call police. Avery returned to his residence where officers took him into custody without incident. They were unable to verify Avery’s improbable claims against his neighbor. Officers booked Avery into jail on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated burglary and criminal mischief.

During an argument with her husband, Margie Maire (1/12/61) broke a ceramic lid on his head and cut him with a knife. Officers took Maire into custody without incident. The victim’s knife wounds were superficial and did not require a medical transport. Maire was booked into jail on charges of aggravated domestic assault.
