Aggressive dogs

210 W. 500 S.

13-104450

Officers responded to an unresponsive female next to McDonald’s, face down on the ground, with three large, unsecured dogs around her. As officers attempted contact with the motionless female to check her welfare, the dogs became aggressive. To protect themselves officers deployed pepper spray. One of the dogs continued the attack, trying to bite one of the officers, so a baton was used on the dog. The 21-year-old female eventually woke up. She was cited by Animal Control for three counts of attack by a dog. The dogs remained with her.
