A 32 year old female got into an argument with her boyfriend over money. The boyfriend pushed the victim, took her purse, removed money and left the scene. The suspect got into a vehicle and left the area. A K9 officer observed the suspect and stopped the vehicle. The officer attempted to take the suspect into custody but the suspect refused to comply. The officer’s K9 was able to assist and take the suspect safely into custody. Donald Brooks (3/6/63) was booked into jail for robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia.
