Hit & Run / Stolen Vehicle / Foot Pursuit

An officer attempted to stop a stolen vehicle. The driver failed to stop and attempted to flee from the officer. The driver ran a red light, collided with two vehicles and the stolen vehicle rolled over. The driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Additional officers along with K9 officers assisted in the pursuit and located the driver. James Butcher (6/26/86) was transported and booked into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle, fleeing, and possession of a controlled substance as well as additional related traffic offenses.
