Recovered stolen vehicle

An officer observed a stolen vehicle and attempted a traffic stop but the vehicle fled. The same vehicle was spotted later and it fled a second time. Officers did not give chase. Finally the car got stuck in traffic while exiting I-15 at the 400 South offramp. Officers converged and were able to safely take the two occupants into custody. Driver Jesus Irigoyen (12/22/87) and passenger Alyssa Trujillo (12/11/91) were booked on stolen vehicle and fleeing charges.

Robbery

A man entered a pawn shop wearing a ski mask and brandishing a handgun. He announced a robbery, fired a round into the ceiling, and smashed a glass jewelry display case. After grabbing some jewelry he fled southbound on a bike. The suspect is described as a white male adult, 5 foot 8 inches tall, medium build, dark clothing, ski mask, and backpack.
