Pepper Spray Assault

Patrons of The Beer Bar were sitting on the patio that borders the sidewalk at this location. Trina Davis (07/09/81) was walking by the patrons and took out a can of pepper spray. Unprovoked, Davis began spraying the victims with the pepper spray. Four victims in all were struck in the head and face. Officers located Davis on Social Hall Avenue and, after a brief struggle, took her into custody. Officers booked the suspect on four counts of misdemeanor assault.

Auto-Bike Accident
2485 S. 900 E.

A vehicle was traveling southbound on 900 East when the driver began passing a bicyclist who was riding on the shoulder of the roadway. As the vehicle started to pass, the bicyclist swerved into the lane, and was struck by the vehicle. The bicyclist was not wearing a helmet and landed on his head. He was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
