The victim was working at the above location and was approached by Gonzalo Gonzalo (11/15/54). Gonzalo demanded drinks and money, neither of which the victim had. Gonzalo then produced a knife and attempted to cut the victim, but only succeeded in ripping the victim’s clothing. Gonzalo dropped the knife and walked away and was last seen walking north on 300 West. Based on a description provided by the victim, officers located the suspect in the area of the shelter. During the arrest he attempted to assault officers. Officers booked him into jail on charges of aggravated robbery, assault by a prisoner, and public intoxication.

Joshua Bowen (7/4/88) stole an I-phone off a counter at the Hot Topic store in Gateway Mall. Mall security tracked the phone through the area. A responding officer went to the phone’s last location and waited for mall security to activate its audible alarm. The officer heard the phone alarm coming from Bowen. Bowen produced the phone, handed it to the officer, and fled on foot. After a foot pursuit, the officer apprehended Bowen and booked him into jail for the theft, fleeing, and several felony warrants.
