Officers responded to the area of 600 N. Redwood Road on a domestic assault call. Nino Duran (11/28/91) had assaulted his mother and then locked himself in the house. Officers were able to convince Duran to come out and he was arrested without incident. Duran was informed he was being taken to jail on warrants as well as new charges. Duran was upset by this and pulled away from officers and ran toward Redwood Road. A vehicle stopped just before hitting him, Duran jumped onto the hood and windshield of the vehicle causing the windshield to break. A charge of resisting was added to his warrants and domestic violence charges. He was taken to jail without further incident.
