Officers responded to a call with the preliminary information that an active shooter was at Garfield Elementary. A large number of officers and SWAT responded. Once officers arrived on scene they were able to speak with the person who called and determine that there was no active shooter. Officers found evidence of a break-in at the school and searched the building. No one was located but officers found damaged property.
