An officer was pulling into the parking lot of Raw Bean Coffee when a man, Marcus Crawford (7/11/76), exited the shop, followed by an employee. The employee alleged that Crawford had stolen money from the store’s tip jar. Crawford began running when he saw the officer and ran inside MillCreek Coffee (657 S. Main St.). Officers set up containment and cleared employees and customers from the business. After searching the premises, they found Crawford hiding in the warehouse, stolen currency in his hand. Officers booked Crawford, a suspect in other tip jar thefts over the last month, for felony enhanced theft, fleeing on foot, and trespass.

The suspect entered the 7-Eleven at the above address, showed the clerk a black handgun and demanded money from the till. The clerk handed over the money, and the suspect fled on foot eastbound on Zenith Ave. The suspect is described as male white adult, in his early 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, slim build, with shaggy blond hair, wearing blue jeans and a blue hoodie, with a blue bandana over his face.
