Missing Juvenile

A 10-year-old boy went missing from the area of 1200 south and 1350 west.  Officers assisted school officials and the child’s family in checking addresses the juvenile has been known to frequent. Police were later notified that the boy had returned home around 4:00 p.m. He was in good condition, had been with a friend all day, and forgot to tell his family where he was going.

Robbery

A man entered the store at the listed address, brandished a weapon and demanded money.  The clerk complied and the suspect fled the store. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 25 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a thin build, dark brown hair, a beard, and was wearing a light green hooded sweatshirt and light colored shorts.

Occupied Stolen Vehicle

Officers observed an occupied stolen vehicle driving in the area, initiated a high hazard stop. The driver, Eduardo Torres-Flores, 41, was arrested and booked into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle.

Burglary-Sexual Assault

A sleeping woman woke to an unknown man touching her. At about the same time the woman’s boyfriend arrived home and confronted the suspect. The boyfriend and a neighbor held the suspect until police arrived. Carlos Lopez-Argueta, 49, was booked for burglary and sexual assault.
