SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department asks the community’s help in identifying and locating a suspect in a bank robbery.

At approximately 3:00 p.m. this afternoon a man entered the Wells Fargo bank branch at 1710 S. Redwood Road, brandished a weapon and demanded money. The teller complied and the suspect fled south on foot along the west side of Redwood Road. No one was injured.

Suspect Description:

  • possible Asian or Hispanic male adult
  • late 20’s
  • 5 feet 8 inches tall
  • thin build
  • dark colored hair
  • last seen wearing a gray or tan button up shirt, jeans, and brown sunglasses

The Police Department asks anyone who may know the identity and/or location of this suspect to call (801) 799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by text to 274637.
