Officers responded to Escalante Elementary for an 8 year old boy that had not been picked up from school by his grandmother. Officers went to the listed address where they discovered 3 deceased individuals with gunshot wounds. The victims have been identified as Heike Poike, 50, Lyrik Poike, 2 months old, and Dakota Smith, 28. Alexander Tran, 32, was located inside the residence with a gun and was taken into custody. Police booked Alexander Tran into jail for three counts of aggravated murder. The motive for the homicides is unknown at this time and the investigation is on-going.
