Stolen Car, Hit & Run Injury Traffic Accident

The victim was stopped in the turn lane when juveniles driving a stolen Honda collided with the back his car. The juveniles fled the scene on foot traveling toward West Valley. With the assistance of West Valley Officers and a South Jordan K-9 officer the juveniles were located in a field. The driver was booked into Detention for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Class A Hit & Run, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession Burglary Tools.  The passenger was cited for Possession of Burglary Tools and Leaving the Scene of an accident. The victim was transported to a local hospital in serious but stable condition.
