The victim was approached by the suspect, Robin Smith (59yrs old).  Smith told the victim to give him his phone and then struck the victim. The victim handed over his phone and the suspect fled the area. Officers located the suspect and he was noncompliant and intimated that he had a weapon. Officers were able to take him into custody and he was booked into jail for robbery and interfering.

The female victim was staying at the Allstar Inn at 754 W North Temple in room 131. She let her boyfriend/ suspect, Brandon Adams (40yrs old), stay in the room with her last night.  Brandon held the victim against the wall with a knife to her throat stating he would kill her and demanded that she give him her Hydrocodone pills and $200 cash. Brandon then proceeded to hit the victim until she lost consciousness and had several teeth knocked out.  Brandon then left in burgundy 1995 Buick Century with Utah plate D380GY in an unknown direction. Brandon is described as a male black adult. 5’9”, 250 lbs.
