Stolen vehicle

Officers watched as a female approached a stolen vehicle. The suspect was carrying a gas can and had a key to the vehicle. Officers booked Denisha Reyes, 25, into jail for outstanding felony warrants. Charges will be screened for possession of a stolen vehicle.

Traffic stop/ Fleeing

Officers observed a vehicle with no license plates and an expired temporary tag. A traffic stop was initiated, however the vehicle continued driving and would not stop. Officers then followed the vehicle into the KOA campground. The vehicle was located again. The two occupants abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers chased the suspects and took them both into custody. Officers booked Eufemio Casas, 19, into jail for fleeing on foot and Michael Wester, 24, for felony fleeing, fleeing on foot, no driver’s license, no registration and no insurance.
