Carjacking

A man started his vehicle and then walked a short distance away to throw some trash in the nearby dumpster. When the victim turned around he saw a man get into his car. When the victim confronted the suspect the man pointed either a rifle, or shotgun at him which caused victim to back away. The suspect fled and was later seen by an officer. The vehicle then fled at a high rate of speed without officers pursuing. The vehicle lost control at 500 East 1300 South and hit a power pole. The suspect fled on foot. Officers were unable to locate the suspect. Evidence was found inside the Tracy Aviary but a gun was never recovered. The suspect was described as a white male in his mid-twenties.

A man approached the taco stand at this location, intimated he had a gun and demanded cash from the victims. The victims complied and the suspect fled on foot. Officers located the suspect a short time later in a parking lot. The suspect was identified by victims and was found to have the money on him from the robbery. Officers booked Antshawn Lewis, 19, into jail for aggravated robbery.

The clerk was in the cooler preparing to close when two males entered the store. One suspect was carrying a small caliber rifle in an obvious attempt to commit a robbery. Both suspects were very confused as they stood by the front counter and were not greeted by a clerk. Both suspects fled the store to an awaiting getaway car and fled the area.
