Officers pulled over a Chevy Tahoe (plate W654DA) for a broken tail light and shortly thereafter learned that the vehicle was stolen. They were able to take both occupants of the vehicle into custody without incident. The driver, A/P Cristina Corrales (30) was booked into jail for possession of stolen vehicle, and possession of paraphernalia. The passenger, A/P James Tapia (35) was booked into jail for being a non-compliant sex offender and false information. Good snag by Officer Sackett.

The victim walked into the hospital with three stab wounds and the hospital contacted dispatch. The 18 year old male victim stated the he was attacked while walking down the street and the attack was unprovoked. His description of the suspect was vague and is a Male Mulatto, approximately 18 years. The wounds were superficial and no suspect is known at this time and a scene could not be located.

Drive by Shooting
165 W Mead Ave

A drive-by shooting was reported at 165 W Mead Ave. Officers arrived and discovered the residence had been struck at least once through the front window. Neighbors reported seeing a black Tahoe at the intersection fire 5-6 rounds towards the residence. No other suspect information.

3:50 a.m.
Stabbing
1625 West, North Temple

Officers were dispatched to a “man down” call at this address and discover the 32 year male victim in the roadway with several significant edged weapon wounds. The victim was unable/unwilling to provide information at the scene and is transported to the hospital with non-life threating injuries.
