Officers stopped a man for curfew violation inside Pioneer Park. The suspect reached towards his waist band and a knife was observed in the pocket of his pants. As officers began to search the man he fled on foot. Officers took the suspect into custody and located drugs in his pockets. Officers booked Johnnie Holmes, 29, into jail for possession of a controlled substance, fleeing on foot, resisting arrest and criminal trespassing.

A man was driving his vehicle when another male ran up to the passenger side and tried to open the door. The male told the driver that people were after him. The driver would not open the door for the individual. The driver heard two shots and observed his back window shatter. The victim pulled into a convenience store and the male jumped into a gold Ford Explorer and drove away. No shell casings or bullet impacts were located on the vehicle. The subject is described as a Hispanic male adult, 5 feet 5 inches tall wearing a white hoodie.

Two men got into a fight and the victim was stabbed in the armpit. The suspect fled the area on foot. The victim was transported to a local hospital in serious, but stable condition. The suspect has been identified, but not located. Investigation ongoing.
