A woman parked in the lot of Anytime Fitness and was approached by a man. The suspect produced a handgun, opened the victim’s car door and attempted to remove her from the vehicle. The victim threw a cup of hot coffee in the suspect’s face and he ran from her vehicle. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult wearing dark clothing, sunglasses and was last seen in a tan SUV.

Fraud/Warrant arrest

Officers responded on a fraud in progress at the Wells Fargo Bank. Officers took the suspect into custody and determined that she had a felony warrant. Officers booked Leah Martinez, 33, into jail on her aggravated robbery warrant.

Carjacking

A woman left her vehicle idling in the driveway of her home. She saw the brake lights turn on, ran outside, opened the driver’s door and confronted a man in the driver’s seat. The suspect backed out of the driveway, ran over the victim’s leg and drove away. The victim suffered minor injuries and was evaluated by medical at the scene. The vehicle was later found unoccupied. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, unknown age, wearing a black hat, blue hoodie and jeans.
