Drugs/Weapon offense

Officers observed a woman dealing drugs and stopped a man that had just purchased drugs from the female. Officers approached the suspect who was with her juvenile son and they could see a handgun in the suspects backpack. Both were taken into custody. Officers booked Latisha Cooke, 40, into jail for possession and distribution of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by restricted person. The 14 year-old male juvenile was booked into detention for distribution of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a restricted person. The man that purchased the drugs was cited and released.

A man entered a store, approached a female cashier, produced a knife and demanded money. The victim then produced a knife and the suspect grabbed some merchandise and exited the store. The suspect is described as a white male adult, approximately 6 feet tall, slender build with dark curly hair, a stubbly beard wearing a red plaid shirt and faded jeans.
