Officers were called to an apartment by management on a report of finding boxes of stolen checks and credit cards while doing an inspection of an apartment. Police wrote a search warrant and located multiple checks, ID’s and large amounts of stolen mail. Investigation ongoing.

A male juvenile entered the market at the above location, selected several items and attempted to leave without paying. The employee tried to stop the suspect. The suspect’s friends entered and also struggled with the employee, who was knocked to the ground. The suspect left but was located by Utah Transit Authority Police at 850 S 200 W. Police transported the 17-year-old juvenile to detention.
