A man entered the Del Taco and demanded cash. The victim said she couldn’t do that and he left the store. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult with light skin in his 20’s, wearing glasses, a dark-blue hoodie with a white t-shirt on top, tan pants, one gray glove with black rubber on the palm and a blue brace on the other hand. No gun was seen.

The same suspect from above entered the Papa Murphy’s, presented a note demanded cash. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot, passing several witnesses outside. Two juveniles stated they saw a gun in the suspect’s hand. Officers were in the area and set up containment, however the suspect was not located.

Shots fired
1500 S. Major St.

Multiple calls were received of a vehicle that drove by firing shots in the area. Multiple shell casings were located. No suspect information was given. A short time later officers were called to a local hospital for a victim of a gunshot wound. The victim was shot in the foot in the area of the shots fired. Investigation ongoing.
