10:58 p.m. Shots fired
Police were call to the area of 1149 W. Modesto Ave on reports of shots being fired. Officers located several shell casings in the street. An unoccupied vehicle had been struck twice by gunfire. No other objects or people had been struck. Gang units are conducting the investigation.
12:04 a.m. 950 W. 400 S.
Officers responded on a shots fired call in the area of 400 S. and 950 W. Two cars were seen parked side by side just before the shots were fired, the two cars left the area immediately following the shots. A party in the area attended by multiple gang members may have been the target. Shell casings were found but no objects or people were struck by the gunfire. Gang units are conducting the investigation.
