Suspicious Package

Protective Services Deputies at Abravanel Hall were contacted about suspicious black piece of luggage on the front lawn. There was some suspicious writing on the top of the luggage. The Hazardous Devices Unit responded to the scene and determined via portable x-ray that the luggage was full of clothes and a note book. It was opened manually and checked to verify.

Shots Fired

Officers responded to shots fired in the area. Complainant stated he heard 3 shots then several cars leaving the area. While officers were checking the area, they heard 6 more shots. No evidence was located, and no damage or injuries were reported. No suspect information at this time.
