The victim was walking when a male Hispanic adult asked the victim for a cigarette.  The suspect punched the victim in the face. The victim felt his arms, back and stomach being cut. The suspect fled on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated on scene. The suspect was described as a 40-50-year-old male Hispanic, last seen wearing a black t-shirt with white lettering, a gray hoodie with long black hair.

The victim was riding his bicycle along the Jordan River trail near California Ave when he was approached by 4 males. The males demanded his bicycle, cellphone, and backpack and the victim complied. Before leaving one of the suspects punched the victim in the face. The suspects are described as Polynesian males. One was 45 years old, wearing a black and white shirt. The second was also 45 years old and was last seen wearing a green jacket. The third as wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, and beard. The victim could not provide a description of the last male.
