Recovered Stolen Vehicle

100 S. 600 W.

The victim tracked his stolen vehicle to the above area. Officers responded and found the vehicle was unoccupied. Through good investigative work officers were able to identify a suspect and located him a short distance away. Bruce Burt, 58, was booked into jail for theft and warrants. The vehicle was returned to the owner.

Suspicious Object

655 E. 400 S.

A security guard reported a suspicious object behind a business. Officers contained the area and the bomb squad responded and rendered the object safe. Investigation ongoing.

 

8:00 p.m.

Robbery

705 E. 3rd Ave.

A male entered the 7-11 and demanded money from the register while brandishing a weapon. The clerk complied and the male fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled on foot, he was last seen wearing a black hoodie, bright green shoes, gloves and a mask.
