Auto-Pedestrian Accident

An 11-year-old male and a friend exited a UTA bus at this location. The male ran across the street in front of the bus and into the path of a vehicle that was travelling north on 300 W. The driver swerved to miss the boy but ran over his foot. The male was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Auto-Pedestrian Accident

50 W. North Temple St.

The driver of the vehicle was westbound at the address above. The vehicle in front of his quickly swerved into the adjacent lane. The driver stated that there was a pedestrian standing in the lane and his vehicle collided with the pedestrian. Witnesses stated that the pedestrian was crossing mid-block and was not paying attention to traffic. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
