Sheila Rae Hansen, 68, walked away from her home and her husband called to report her missing. Hansen has severe Alzheimer’s disease. A Silver alert was issued and she was listed as missing. About 5 hours later a neighbor called to report a suspicious person on her porch which turned out to be Hansen. She was reunited with her family.

A male entered the business at this address, brandished a weapon and demanded money. The suspect was given money from the business and fled the scene on foot. The suspect was described as a male wearing a black leather jacket, black basketball pants with a red stripe and a white bandana over his face.

The victim confronted Christian Ramirez, 27, about noise coming from his apartment. Ramirez and the victim got into a physical altercation. Ramirez retrieved a knife and chased the victim. An officer in the complex on an unrelated call confronted Ramirez at gunpoint. Ramirez retreated back to his apartment and barricaded himself in his apartment. Communication was established and Ramirez eventually surrendered. He was taken to jail for aggravated assault.

Assault on a Police Officer

An officer was in the area when he on-viewed a fight in progress. The officer attempted to intervene and take the combatants into custody. Sergio Rodriguez, 23, assaulted the officer by kicking him in the groin area. Multiple officers arrived and were able to Rodriguez into custody. Once in cuffs, Rodriguez resisted by kicking officers, and had to be further restrained. Rodriguez was booked into jail for assault on a police officer, assault by a prisoner, resisting and disorderly conduct.

Shots Fired
900 W. 600 S.

A witness observed a vehicle in the area of 600 S. and 900 West. The occupants began throwing gang signs and then shots were fired from the vehicle. Shell casings were located but there was no damage or victims located.
