Assault on a Police Officer

An officer responded on a report that Angel Jesus Lugardo, 19, had been huffing paint. Angel was cleared medically and agreed to leave when Angel took another huff of paint and then attacked the officer. The officer was able to take Angel to the ground and with the assistance of responding officers, Angel was placed into handcuffs. Angel was transported to jail for assault on a P/O and resisting arrest. The officer was taken to a local hospital for examination.

Fleeing Resisting

1580 S. Major St.

An officer observed David Rordame, 36, riding with no lights on his bicycle. The officer attempted to stop Rordame, Rordame fled on his bike. Rordame was stopped by other officers at Kensington and State. David continued to resist until he was placed into custody. Rordame was booked into jail on Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, fleeing, resisting, and no bicycle light.

Fugitive Apprehension
600 S. Post

Gang detectives saw a known gang fugitive at 600 S. Post St. enter a white Honda Pilot with a temp tag in the rear window. This vehicle was involved in a strong arm robbery earlier in the day from Gateway Mall, and had fled from officers several times. Detectives followed from a distance

as the vehicle travelled east on SR-201 a stop was attempted and the vehicle was then spiked. The vehicle pulled over at 3800 W EB SR-201. A high hazard stop was initiated and the driver, Steven Nolasco, 19, was taken into custody. Nolasco was taken to jail on his felony warrants along with charges of robbery, fleeing and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Shooting
300 N. Redon Ct

The victim was driving eastbound on 300 N. when he noticed a vehicle was following him.  He decided to go back home when this early model Toyota Corolla, pulled up next to him and shot at him. One projectile was recovered inside the driver side. The victim was not hurt during this incident. The shooter is described as a male Hispanic with long black hair and a tattoo below his eye.
