Muhammed Zaid, 36, was seen on camera setting a fire in a dumpster at the American Towers Condos at 44 Broadway. A short time later two witnesses identified him as setting a fire in the basement of the La France apartments located at 250 W 300 S. Responding officers located Zaid in the area and took him in to custody without incident. The case has been turned over to the Salt Lake City Fire Department arson investigators.
