Suspicious Circumstance

Officers were dispatched on a suspicious circumstance. The car dealership had recently purchased a vehicle from an out of state auction. The vehicle was delivered to the dealership the day prior. Employees at the dealership started cleaning the vehicle and noticed blood inside, along with a bullet sitting on the floor behind the driver seat. The bullet had blood on it and was missing its shell casing. A warrant was written on the vehicle and its contents. Investigation continuing.

Trespass / Foot Pursuit

Officers responded to a reported Burglary in progress. The complainant reported to dispatch that two individuals had broken into one of the units. As officers responded, one of the suspects, Zachary Niemeir, 23, fled on foot south bound toward 300 S with Officers giving chase.  He was detained at a 415 E. 300 S. A K-9 was used to search the property and detain the second suspect, Cerra Rodgers, 29, who was in one of the vacant units. Both Zachary and Cerra were transported to jail and booked for trespassing.

1013 N. Colorado St.

Several calls came in for shots fired in the area near 1013 N Colorado St. Responding officers located shell casings in the roadway. No damage or victims were located.
