Officers responded on a car prowl in progress, before officers arrived a second call came in of an attempted carjacking with the same suspect description. During the attempted carjacking the victim was struck in the head with a hammer. Officers located the suspect in the area and took him into custody without incident. At the time of his arrest the suspect had a pair of brass knuckles on his hand. Brian Churchill, 48, was booked into jail for robbery.

Aggravated Assault

The victim and a friend were drinking when an argument ensued. Kenyon House, 32, attempted to stab the victim with a dull knife but was unsuccessful. The victim sustained a minor injury to a finger. Kenyon was arrested and booked into jail for aggravated assault and public intoxication.
