Suspicious Person

A Walmart employee saw a male dangling his legs over the store roof making concerning statements. Officers working part-time at the store quickly responded to the roof and engaged the male. The suspect was restrained without incident, and after a search of the roof, it was determined that Armando Fierro-Sixtos, 24, was having an issue related to drug use. He was cleared by medical and taken to jail for possession of a controlled substance and trespassing.

Suspicious Package

Employees at Northrop Grumman heard a beeping sound coming from a group of packages that had just been delivered. Not knowing the source, they considered it suspicious and notified police. The Hazardous Devices Unit responded to assist on the call. The package was located, traced and found to be electronics with a dead battery indicator.

Occupied Stolen Vehicle
1024 E Williams Ave.

Officers located a stolen vehicle at 1024 E Williams Ave. Jerod Meyer 33, and Brittany Peercy 31, were detained outside of the vehicle. Property belonging to the two was located inside the stolen vehicle. Meyer and Peercy were booked into jail for possession for a stolen vehicle.

Stolen Motorcycle
490 S West Temple St.

An officer was conducting traffic enforcement in the area of 200 S. State St. when he saw a motorcycle speeding by with the rider wearing no helmet. The officer spotted the motorcycle again at the listed address and conducted a traffic stop. When officers ran the VIN on the motorcycle, they learned it was stolen out of West Valley City. Bracken Frkovich, 26, was transported to jail and charged with possession of stolen property and multiple traffic violations.

Shooting
3455 W. Ninigret Dr.

The victim was at the listed address watching street racers when she heard approximately 3 gunshots and noticed that she had been hit on her right thigh. She was sitting in the rear passenger seat of her friend’s car when this happened. She was then transported by friends to a local hospital. Officers at the listed address found bullet fragments in the parking lot. Investigation is ongoing.
