9:21 a.m.
1035 N. 1400 W.

The victim was attempting to sell a vehicle and arranged with a male and female to look at it. While discussing the vehicle the suspect punched the victim in the head with a blunt object and fled in the victim’s vehicle. Officers located the vehicle abandoned but the suspects are still outstanding. The male is described as a Polynesian male adult, 6’1” 250-300 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.


11:53 a.m.
Woman with a Gun
1829 S. State St.

Officers were dispatched on a woman with a weapon at the Zion’s Motel. A female made threats to staff that she would return with a gun and kill him before leaving. The female returned a short time later and brandished a handgun. Officers took her into custody without incident. Eva Mendoza, 35, was booked into jail for aggravated assault and trespass.


11:02 p.m.
Missing Endangered Adult – Silver Alert
1216 W. Pacific Ave.

Jackson Montgomery, 71, caught a ride to the Walmart at 5469 S. Redwood Road with the understanding he would take the bus back home when he was done shopping. When Jackson did not return several hours later he was reported missing. Jackson suffers from dementia and has the cognitive abilities of a juvenile. Officers checked the area between the Walmart and his residence but could not locate Jackson. Jackson is 6’ tall and weighs approximately 220 lbs. with gray hair, green eyes and a thick gray beard. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve gray flannel shirt, brown pants and black shoes. A silver alert has been activated.
