The suspects and victims were watching street racers in the area when an argument ensued, and shots were exchanged between the two groups who then fled the area. Officers located one of the involved vehicles and stopped it. The passenger in the vehicle had a superficial gunshot wound to his leg and would not cooperate with the investigation, he was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Officers were able to locate the initial scene and found shell casings as well as damage to two nearby buildings and another vehicle.
