Occupied Stolen Vehicle

Officers located a stolen vehicle and made contact with several passengers. The individual who had been driving the vehicle was not present when the vehicle was located. No arrests were made at this time, the vehicle was returned to the owner.

The victims were walking in the area when they were approached by a male White and male Polynesian. One of the males produced a handgun and demanded their property. The suspects then fled in a white SUV, possibly a GMC or Chevrolet.

Aggravated Assault
601 E. 1300 S.

The victim was with several other people at Liberty Park when they began to assault her. At least two females began to punch and kick her, while a male ordered a dog to bite her. The victim eventually got away and called police. She was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Officers began to search the park and located Shaylie Campbell, 19 and Ashlyne Niedringhaus, 18. Both were booked into jail for aggravated assault. The male suspect is still outstanding. Salt Lake County Animal Control took custody of the dog.
