Industrial Accident

A 44-year-old male fell from an elevated forklift. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. OSHA was notified.
5:41 p.m.
Robbery
975 W. South Temple St.

A call came in for a robbery in the area of the above address. Officers who were already in the area were able to locate the suspect leaving the area on a bike. Officers attempted to stop the suspect and he fled on the bike, crashing a short distance later. Officers took custody of the suspect. The victim was uncooperative with officers. Michael Brown, 35, was booked for fleeing, resisting and possession of a controlled substance.

Disturbance
455 E. 200 S.

Officers responded to a call for a male yelling and lunging into traffic at this location. The officers contacted the male who refused to cooperate. OC spray was used on the male which enabled officers to take him safely into custody. EMS responded to treat the suspect for the OC spray exposure. Gary Seaman, 56, was then transported to jail for public intoxication, disturbing the peace, and resisting along with an outstanding warrant.

Traffic Stop

During a traffic stop an officer noticed marijuana in a car. The driver was placed into custody and found to have a stolen gun on his person. The suspect was also found to have meth in his possession. Edgar Mota, 28, was booked for these offenses.
