Robbery, Shots Fired

The victims arranged to sell an IPAD over snapchat. The suspect arrived at the victim’s apartment and produced a gun robbing the victims of the IPAD. As the suspect fled one of the victims retrieved his own gun and fired a shot at the suspect. The suspect has not been located at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers responded to a group of street racers where shots had been fired. Witnesses stated that people in two trucks exchanged gunfire with each other. A bystander in a vehicle was struck by a stray bullet he was treated at a local hospital for a gunshot to his bottom. A description of the involved vehicles was broadcast, and officers spotted the vehicle on SR 201. The vehicle was stopped, and a warrant was written. A handgun and rifle were recovered as well as drugs. The driver of the vehicle will have charges screened against him.
