Aggravated Assault with a vehicle
542 E. 1300 S.

Officers received a call of an auto-pedestrian where the vehicle also hit a house, and then fled the scene. Officers arrived and spoke with a victim, who stated he wasn’t sure what happened. An employee called reporting a retail theft from the 711 located at 1300 S 510 E. The Employee followed the victim because he believed he had taken items from the store. The employee gave chase in his vehicle striking the victim causing substantial injuries to him and damage to the house that was hit. Ron Kirkham, 60, was booked into jail on Aggravated Assault.

Auto pedestrian

Driver of the first vehicle struck the second vehicle from behind, The first vehicle then left the roadway colliding with a covered pedestrian walkway and then struck a pedestrian. Victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition. Driver of vehicle one was transported to an area hospital also in serious condition. This is an ongoing investigation.

Attempted Kidnap

The victim was walking with his young child when the suspect attempted to grab the child and run away. The victim picked up his child and ran away from the suspect, but she followed and attempted to stab the victim with a pen while screaming for the victim to ‘give her daughter back.’  Zori Stevenson, 27, was booked into ADC for attempted kidnapping and aggravated assault.
