Officers responded to the area due to a report of multiple shots fired. Several shell cassings were located. There was no report of damage or victims.

4:12 p.m.
Bank Robbery

The suspect entered the bank, produced a weapon, and demanded money from the teller. He left the bank after receiving an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was described as a male white, black long-sleeve shirt, camo hat, and blue face mask.

The victim was arriving at his residence when a vehicle pulled up next to him. The passenger an adult black male pulled a gun and demanded money. The victim handed over his wallet and the suspects fled. The driver of the vehicle was described as a white male.

Shots Fired
1530 S. State St.

It was reported that a group of males were arguing loudly when shots were fired. When the shots were fired, all involved persons scattered and fled the area. Officers located several shell casings and found where several bullets had struck the surrounding businesses. There have been no reported injuries from this incident.

The victim stated that several people outside of a 7-11 had been panhandling. When the victim exited the store, they surrounded him, and one male produced a weapon demanding money as they blocked his car and his ability to leave. He handed over money and the suspects fled.
