Attempted Car Jacking

A male opened the door of the victim’s vehicle and told her to get out or he would assault her. Several acquaintances of the victim saw the attempted carjacking and chased the suspect away. Officers located the suspect in the area and took him into custody. Derek Wyatt, 36, was booked into jail for aggravated robbery and possession of drugs.
