Burglary

The victim was in his apartment when two males kicked in the door. The victim recognized the first suspect as a former roommate. The second suspect then entered and assaulted the victim. Both suspects fled and have not been located at this time.

 

5:20 p.m.

Fatal Traffic Accident
1100 E. Bryan Ave

A male driver was involved in a hit and run accident and fled the scene. The suspect of the hit and run was being followed by the victim while travelling east on Bryan Avenue. The suspect failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a vehicle that was travelling north on 1100 E. The driver of the vehicle that was hit was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. The suspect was also taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Charges will be screened.
