Weapons Incident/ Assault on a Police Officer

Officers responded to a call for a man with a gun attempting to enter a room. When officers arrived, the male opened the door to the room with gun in hand and then closed the door again. Eventually all occupants of the room exited, including the suspect. Officers located the firearm, an airsoft gun, in the room. The suspect was placed under arrest, then kicked an officer in the leg. Officers utilized a WRAP restraint to transport the suspect to jail. Marquise Resendez, 20, was booked for disorderly conduct and assault on a police officer.
