A male suspect assaulted a female victim outside her apartment. The suspect pushed the victim and stole the purse she was holding. He then fled on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries from the incident. Investigation ongoing.

Melonie Ponni, 43, was reported as trespassing at the Little Caesars. Melonie had previously been trespassed from this location and returned again. When contacted by the first officer on scene, Melonie assaulted him and was taken into custody. The officer was treated for minor injuries and Melonie was booked into jail for assault and trespassing.
