Aggravated Assault
1014 W. North Temple St.

A male victim was operating his wheelchair on the sidewalk near 1014 W. North Temple St. when he was approached from behind by Hamadi Musa, 24. Musa struck the victim in the head with a metal pipe splitting his head open. A short struggle ensued, and Musa stabbed the victim in the left abdomen. A bystander intervened and detained Musa until police arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital in serious condition. Musa was transported to jail and booked for aggravated assault.
