Stolen Vehicle

An officer located a vehicle that was listed as stolen in this area. A felony stop was initiated and the driver fled on foot. Officers detained three people who remained inside the vehicle. Containment was set up and the driver was located nearby. He was identified as Rodolfo Izarraras, 29. Izarraras was booked into jail for felony theft of a vehicle and other misdemeanor drug charges. The three passengers were cleared and released.

Officers responded to a report of a man unconscious inside a vehicle. They contacted Nathan Murphy, 36, who was asleep. Officers could smell the odor of Marijuana and Murphy appeared to be impaired. Murphy failed field sobriety tests. Large quantities of illegal drugs were located, along with a firearm and stolen property. Murphy was booked into jail for DUI and related charges.
