Officers responded to a report of a woman throwing items from a window. The homeowner returned home and stated the woman did not live there. The woman was identified as Summer Thatcher, 36. Thatcher had discharged a gun that she found in the house and damaged several items. Thatcher was booked into jail for burglary, criminal mischief, discharge of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A male suspect followed the victim’s vehicle from the freeway to this parking lot. The suspect pulled close to the victim’s vehicle and fired rounds from a gun at their vehicle. The suspect then fled and has not been located at this time. There were no injuries. Investigation ongoing.
